A variation from the typical pork chop. Ingredients:
4 center-cut pork chops |
1/2 cup flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons milk |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
3 tablespoons canola oil |
1/4-1/2 cup chicken broth |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
Directions:
1. Coat chops in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. 2. Beat eggs and mix with milk. 3. Dip floured chops in egg mixture. 4. Dip chops in bread crumbs. 5. Heat oil in skillet. 6. When hot, add pork chops and brown 3 minutes on each side. 7. Add chicken broth and garlic. 8. Cover and cook over medium heat for 45 minutes, or until chops are tender. 9. Take cover off skillet for last 5 minutes of cooking. |
