Ingredients:
5 slices bacon |
2 pounds fresh green beans, snapped |
1 medium onion, chopped |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp; drain on paper towels. Crumble and set aside; reserve drippings in skillet. 2. Place crumbled bacon, beans, and onion in reserved drippings. Cook over medium heat 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 40 minutes or until tender. |
