This is a quick easy way to have an accompaniment for a roast beef, pork, chicken etc, Tasty and colorful Ingredients:
very good brand olive oil |
1 pat sweet butter |
24 large scallions (green onions) |
kosher salt |
white pepper |
Directions:
1. Wash and dry onions 2. Cut off green tops leaving only about an inch or two above bulb 3. Heat large fry pan to medium 4. oil once or twice around pan 5. add butter 6. Add onions and stir gently until slightly brown 7. Remove from pan and place around meat platter 8. Add kosher salt and white pepper to taste 9. Plate meat in center and serve. 10. Nice with fingerling taters |
