Sauteed Carrots With Sage |

You can easily double or triple this recipes. Love sage,this recipe is so good. Ingredients:
1 tsp butter |
1 tsp olive oil |
1-1/2 c diagonally sliced carrot |
2 tb water |
1/8 tsp salt |
1/8 tsp fresh ground black pepper |
2 tsp fresh small sage leaves |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over med. heat. Add oil to pan;swirl to coat. Add sliced carrot and 2 TB water. Partially cover pan,and cook 10 mins or till carrots are almost tender. Add salt and pepper to pan;increase hr=eat to med-high. Cook 4 mins or until carrots are tender ansd lightly browned,stirring frequently. Sprinkle with sage. |
