Sauteed Carrots With Sage |

You can easily double,tripe or quadruple this small-yield recipe to feed more. Ingredients:
1 tsp butter |
1 tsp olive oil |
1-1/2 c diagonally cut carrots |
2 tbs water |
1/8 tsp salt |
1/8 tsp pepper |
2 tsp fresh small sage leaves |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in large nonstick skillet over med. heat. Add oil to pan;swirl to coat. Add carrots and 2 Tbs. water. Partially cover pan and cook 10 mins or till carrots are almost tender. Add salt and pepper to pan and increase to med-high heat. 2. Cook 4 mins or till carrots are tender and lightly browned,stirring frequently. |
