Carrots with brown sugar. Ingredients:
2 lbs carrots |
1 tsp kosher salt |
1/4 tsp black pepper |
2 tbsp unsalted butter |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Peel carrots. Cut in half lengthwise and then into 2'' pieces. Place in 1/3 cup water with salt and pepper in saute pan and bring to boil. Cover, cook medium-low for 7-8 minutes, until carrots just cooked through. Add butter and brown sugar, saute 1 min, until water evaporates. |
