Ingredients:
4 slices bacon (cut into 1 inch slices)
1 onion (sliced)
1/2 of the reserved cabbage (sliced thinly)
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Cook the bacon and set aside.
2. Add the onion and sauté in the bacon grease until very tender, about 7-10 minutes.
3. Add the cabbage, bacon, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper and saute until the liquid disappears.
