Best use of fresh baby bok choy, just a quick saute with bacon and garlic, yumminess Ingredients:
four slices of chopped bacon |
2 lbs. of bok choy, washed and trimmed |
1 teaspoon of oil |
1 large clove of garlic minced |
1/2 of a red onion slivered |
1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes |
large pinch of sea salt |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon until crisp. 2. Drain and reserve. 3. Keep one tbsp of bacon fat in pan. Add oil. 4. Add onion and cook two minutes. 5. Add bok choy and saute over high heat. 6. Add garlic and seasoning, toss to coat. 7. Reduce heat. 8. Cover and cook five minutes. 9. Top with reserved bacon. |
