This is just a quick way to prepare asparagus in a colorful tasty manner with the addition of mushrooms and garlic. Ingredients:
fresh asparagus cut into 1 inch pieces |
sliced mushrooms (white, baby portabello, etc.) |
butter |
tarragon |
minced garlic |
salt & pepper |
Directions:
1. Wash and slice asparagus - removing hard ends 2. melt butter in saute pan 3. add minced garlic 4. add sliced asparagus and mushrooms, tarragon, salt and pepper to taste 5. saute on medium heat till tender but al dente |
