This recipe goes with Cheddar Pancakes with Sautéed Apples and Bacon Ingredients:
2 reduced-fat bacon slices |
8 cups sliced, peeled granny smith apples (about 2 pounds) |
2 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from pan, reserving drippings in pan. Crumble bacon and set aside. Add apples and sugar to drippings in pan. Sauté 10 minutes or until the apples are golden. Stir in bacon. |
