Sausage With Pepper and Onions |

Deliciously amazing sausage like the kind I would find as a kid at family functions. I made this for my boyfriend last night and he gobbled it all up. Enjoy! Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter |
2 medium yellow onions |
2 bell peppers (1 green, 1 red recommended) |
4 garlic cloves |
16 ounces sausage |
Directions:
1. Chop onions, peppers and garlic, set aside. 2. Over very low heat, melt butter in a large saucepan. Add onions, peppers and garlic. 3. Cut sausage into 4-5 inch pieces, and arrange on top of onions and peppers. 4. Cover with a lid, and let simmer for approximately 45 minutes, or until peppers are limp. 5. Serve immediately and enjoy! |
