This makes the old stuffing recipes seem bla. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups chicken broth |
generous dash ground black pepper |
1 stalk celery, coarsely chopped (about 1/2 cup) |
1 large onion, coarsely chopped |
4 cups herb seasoned stuffing |
1 lb sausage |
Directions:
1. Heat the broth, black pepper, celery and 1/2 the onion in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Remove the saucepan from the heat. 2. Meanwhile brown the sausage in a fly pan with the other half of the onion. 3. Mix the stuffing cubes, liquid mixture and sausage all together. 4. Put into lightly greased baking dish. Add some chicken broth. 5. Bake at 350 degrees until browned. |
