Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms |

Simple stuffed mushrooms, goes great with any meal. Ingredients:
18 large stuffable white mushrooms, stems removed |
1 package pork or cornbread stovetop stuffing, prepared |
1 roll, crumble sausage, cooked and crumbled |
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced |
1/4 cup grated parmesan |
1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley |
salt and pepper to taste |
1/2 stick margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees. 2. Combine stuffing, garlic, parmesan and parsley. 3. Add sausage and salt/pepper, mixing to combine well. 4. Place mushrooms in a 9x13 baking pan. Lightly baste each mushroom with melted margarine. 5. Stuff each mushroom evenly and baste lightly again with margarine. 6. Bake for 23 to 30 minutes or until mushrooms are tender, basting occasionally. |
