These are absolutely habit forming. I only put 10 servings but it could serve more. I always eat my weight, and then some, of these delicious morsels. Ingredients:
24 large jalopeno peppers |
1 lb. hot pork sausage |
2 eight oz. pkg. cream cheese |
1 pkg. bacon |
left-over mixture may be frozen |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees 2. Slice peppers in half 3. De-seed and de-vein peppers, make sure to wear latex gloves 4. Cook sausage in pan for 5 min. or until done, drain 5. Mix sausage and cream cheese together in a bowl 6. Take your rings off because it mixes better with your fingers 7. Stuff the peppers 8. Wrap peppers with bacon strips and secure with toothpick 9. Place peppers on cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes |
