This dish is hearty! Ingredients:
6-8 thick sausages -(chopped into thirds) |
3 chopped carrots |
1 chopped onion |
some mushrooms |
a head of broken up broccolli |
other vegetables - smallish bits |
1c. of rice |
1 tin tomatoes |
3 chopped potatoes |
1 c. of of water |
1 bouillon(vegetable or beef) |
herbs |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. First you want to fry the sausage pieces, until brown. 2. Then you can add the carrots and onion and fry 3-5 minutes. 3. Next add the rice and stir , coating every grain. 4. Then add the water, potatoes, broccolli, other vegetables, tomatoes and herbs and crumble in the stock cube. 5. You will then want to bring to the boil and simmer for approx. 20 minutes, or until the rice is done. 6. Salt and pepper as needed. 7. Serve. |
