Ingredients:
1 carton(s) chicken broth
2 cup(s) cooked rice(or noodles)
1 large can(s) diced whole tomatoes
1 bag(s) fresh escarole(washed)
1 pound(s) ground hot sausage
1 teaspoon(s) italian seasoning
mozzarella cheese
1 medium onion
Directions:
1. Cook sausage and onion in pan. Drain excess oil. Add to slow cooker with tomatoes and chicken broth and Italian seasoning. Wash escarole carefully and add to soup. Approximately 30 minutes before serving add cooked rice or noodles. After adding soup to bowls, garnish with shredded mozzarella cheese.
