This is a recipe that I created for a quick week night meal. The kids love it. It is simple and easy. Ingredients:
1 lb ground sausage |
1 (6 ounce) box uncle ben's wild rice, original recipe |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
2/3 cup water |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/8 teaspoon sage |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Cook, drain Sausage set aside. 2. While cooking sausage, cook Uncle Ben's Wild Rice according to directions box. 3. As rice finishes cooking, combine water, cream of mushroom soup and butter. Bring to a boil. 4. Once cream of mushroom soup mixture begins to boil, combine rice(no water) and sausage into boiling mixture. 5. Add sage and salt. 6. Cook uncovered until thick (about 10 min). |
