I've collected recipes a long time and didn't keep track of where they came from. Ingredients:
1/2 lb turkey kielbasa |
6 medium potatoes |
2 cups corn, frozen |
1 1/2 cups chicken broth |
1 celery rib, sliced |
1/4 cup carrot, sliced |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 1/2 cups low-fat milk |
2/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced |
Directions:
1. In large saucepan, brown sausage; drain and set aside. 2. In the same pan combine potatoes, corn, celery, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. 3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender. 4. Add milk, cheese, parsley and sausage. 5. Cook and stir over low heat until cheese is melted and soup is heated through. |
