Ingredients:
2 cup(s) self-rising flour |
1/2 cup(s) shortening (sticks) |
3/4 cup(s) buttermilk |
1 pound(s) sausage cooked and drained |
Directions:
1. Using a fork, mash shortening into flour and add buttermilk. Knead with hands and place on wax paper covered with flour. Roll out dough into a rectangle about 1/4 thick. Spread sausage out on dough and roll up pinching edges together. Slice and bake at 425 degrees until golden brown. |
