I found this in an old cook book. I haven't tried this yet but it sounded good. Ingredients:
1 lb bulk pork sausage |
1 large onion, chopped |
2 cups bisquick baking mix |
3/4 cup milk |
2 eggs |
1 tbsp caraway seed |
1 1/2 cups sour cream |
1/4 tsp salt |
paprika |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13v9x2-inch baking pan. 2. Cook and stir sausage and onion over medium heat until sausage is browned; drain. 3. Mix Bisquick, milk and 1 egg. 4. Spread in pan. 5. Sprinkle with caraway seed. 6. Top with sausage and onions. 7. Mix sour cream, salt and remaining egg. 8. Pour evenly over sausage. 9. Sprinkle with paprika. 10. Bake until set, about 25 to 30 minutes. 11. Cut into squares to serve. |
