Sausage Onion Peppers Casserole |

Had Italian sausage and just did not know what to make, my sister was making Sausage & Peppers the long way, so I said what the Heck , let me try this Easy and soooo soooo good Ingredients:
2 - 3 lbs italian sausage (i used sweet) |
1 large onion sliced thin |
2-3 red peppers and green peppers sliced |
(or i used for quick use, a bag of frozen pepper stir-fy mix) |
2 cans of drained (8 oz) can mushrooms |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
2 tsp italian seasoning |
1/2 tsp sazon seasoning (yes sazon-got try it) |
1/4 cup dried sun dried tomatoes |
salt & pepper to taste |
1/4 cup olive oil |
3 tbsp any flavor of italian salad dressing (i used roasted red pepper) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 2. In large 9 x 13 pan, put sausage (I cut each link into 3 pieces) in pan 3. Put all the veggies on top 4. Put all seasoning and cheese in pan 5. Toss to mix with veggies 6. Add salad dressing and mix up a little 7. Drizzle olive oil over top (if you feel you need more oil, add but do not add too much as the sausage will release oil too and you don't want to have it floating in oil) 8. Cover with foil for the first 20 minues 9. Remove foil and continue cooking 10. Periodically toss the meat & veggies together to incorporate taste 11. Serve with pasta or hot Italian bread |
