Everyone loves sub sandwiches. Here's one made especially for meat lovers with a bit of an Italian spin. Top with lots of mozzarella cheese and you're set for a great meal. Ingredients:
1 pound italian sausage roll |
1 (26 oz) jar of spaghetti sauce |
6 hoagie buns |
6 tbsp mozzarella cheese, grated |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup oatmeal |
Directions:
1. Combine sausage, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and oatmeal in a large bowl. Form into 1 inch balls. In a skillet, cook the meatballs, over medium heat, until browned and cooked through then reduce to low heat. Mix in the spaghetti sauce and continue cooking until the sauce is heated. 2. Place meatballs and sauce into buns, then garnish with mozzarella cheese. |
