This is a tasty scramble of scrambled eggs, cheese, and pieces of sausage. Great for a Sunday morning family breakfast! You may use as much of whatever type of cheese you prefer for this recipe. I have also used Ham and Bacon in this recipe. Read more . All are wonderful. The crescent rolls make this dish a little bit more special and delicious. Ingredients:
6 links pork sausage |
diced red/green and or/yellow peppers |
diced onion |
6 eggs |
3/4 cup heavy cream |
3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
1/2 tsp sugar |
hot sauce to taste |
1 package of pillsbury crescent rolls |
Directions:
1. Place peppers, onions and sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and chop sausage into bite-size pieces; set aside. 2. While sausage is cooking, beat eggs and cream together. Add sugar and hot sauce. Pour eggs into griddle. Add cheese and cook until eggs are set. Stir in sausage and place into a small to medium sized casserole dish. Unroll crescent rolls and place over top of egg mixture. Place into oven for 15 minutes. DELICIOUS. |
