Very old recipe handed down-and down-and, well it's really good. We put it over rice or baked potatoes. Ingredients:
1 lb pork sausage |
2 teaspoons green peppers, chopped |
2 teaspoons onions, chopped |
1 egg |
1/4 cup flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 cups tomatoes, chopped |
3 teaspoons chili sauce |
2 teaspoons chili powder |
Directions:
1. Mix well sausage, green pepper, onion, and egg. 2. Roll into small balls. 3. In a bowl mix flour and spices. 4. Roll the balls in flour mixture and place in casserole dish. 5. Mix tomatoes, chili sauce and chili powder on med. 6. speed of mixer briefly. 7. Pour over sausage. 8. Cover and bake at 350* for 45 minutes. |
