This dip is served warm with tortilla chips. Adjust the spice to your preference. It freezes well. Ingredients:
1 lb. lean ground beef |
1 lb. hot italian sausage (taken out of casing) |
1 large onion (diced) |
1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup |
1 (19 oz.) can diced tomatoes with seasonings (plain diced would do) |
2 lb. velveeta cheese |
3-5 jalapeno peppers (chopped very small) |
2 cups hot salsa (med. if you don't want it too spicy) |
tortilla chips for dipping |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, sausage and onion. 2. Drain fat. 3. Add the rest of the ingredients. (except tortilla chips) 4. Simmer until the cheese melts. 5. Serve warm with tortilla chips. 6. Enjoy! |
