Fast, easy sausage casserole. Freezes well. Ingredients:
1 lb sausage |
1 small onion (chopped) |
1/2 bell pepper (chopped) |
1/2 cup celery (chopped) |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 (6 2/3 ounce) box uncle ben's long grain and wild rice blend (cooked) |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can water |
1 (2 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms |
1 (2 ounce) jar diced pimentos |
Directions:
1. Brown sausage and drain. 2. Saute onion, bell pepper and celery in butter. 3. Add vegetables and cooked rice to sausage. 4. Put this and all remaining ingredients in casserole dish, mix well and bake 350 until heated through. |
