This is a cross between bread and a casserole. It's very good for supper with a nice cold beer. Ingredients:
1 pound sausage |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1 egg beaten |
2 tbsp chopped parsley |
1/4 tsp salt |
2/3 cup milk |
1/2 cup onion, diced |
1/2 cup swiss cheese |
1/2 tsp tabasco |
2 cups bisquick |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
Directions:
1. Crumble sausage and brown with onion; drain. Add cheeses, egg, Tabasco, salt, and parsley and mix well. 2. Make dough with Bisquick, milk, and mayonnaise. Spread over top of first mixture in a 9 x 13 baking pan. Brush top with beaten egg yolk, if desired. 3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 400 degrees. |
