Sausage Bites With Apricot Glaze |

Short on time, I made my own variations but the results were great. Here's my version. Pairs great with wine but would also be good for a football party. Read more . Ingredients:
1 1/4 pounds italian sweet sausage |
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
1 cup apricot all-fruit spread or, apricot preserves |
1/2 cup spicy brown mustard |
onion powder (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Cut the sausage into bite-sized pieces. 2. Pan fry the sausages over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. 3. In a separate saucepan mix the apricot preserves, balsamic, mustard and onion powder. 4. Heat the apricot glaze until melted and warmed throughout. 5. Serve the glaze in small bowls with the sausages on toothpicks. |
