On this one, I don't really know serving sizes or how long to bake it as I always use it in either chicken or pork. I go by the meat temp when done not the stuffing temp. So the cooking time is just a guess. Ingredients:
1 pound pork-sausage meat |
3 large apples, peeled, cored and chopped |
1 large onion, chopped |
1 cup chopped celery |
4 cups fresh bread crumbs |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
Directions:
1. In 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, cook sausage until browned, breaking apart with fork. 2. Remove meat to medium bowl. 3. Pour off drippings but return 1/4 cup to pan. 4. Return drippings to medium heat, cook apples, onions and celery until celery is tender, about 10 minutes. 5. Remove from heat. 6. Add sausage meat and remaining ingredients. 7. Stir until well mixed. |
