Sausage and Sauerkraut, Yummy |

I had this at a friends and this is soooo good, I took her advice and put a few pats of butter on top. Also stir this in your crockpot every hour or so.. Ingredients:
4 lbs smoked sausage |
4 lbs sauerkraut |
1 1/2 teaspoons caraway seeds |
3 teaspoons basil |
9 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 1/2 cups hot water |
Directions:
1. Open your bag of sauerkraut and rinse and drain and put in bottom of large crock pot. Cut up sausage and lay sausage on top of kraut. Put seasoning's and water on top of all and mix with spoon really good. 2. Cook on high for 4 hours stirring every hour to mix well. 3. Enjoy! 4. :). |
