Sausage and Sauerkraut Dinner

Easy and quick to prepare, what makes this so good is that the sausage flavor (oils) get distributed throughout the sauerkraut. Serve with mashed, boiled, or baked potatoes and/or with a compatible vegetable such as French cut green beans.
Ingredients:
1 lb polish sausage (or use smoked sausage)
6 cups sauerkraut
Directions:
1. Slice sausage into 1/4-inch slices and fry, no oil added, in a non-stick saucepan or skillet at medium-high heat until browned.
2. Add sauerkraut and mix well. Heat through and serve.
