Sausage and Sauerkraut Dinner |

Easy and quick to prepare, what makes this so good is that the sausage flavor (oils) get distributed throughout the sauerkraut. Serve with mashed, boiled, or baked potatoes and/or with a compatible vegetable such as French cut green beans. Ingredients:
1 lb polish sausage (or use smoked sausage) |
6 cups sauerkraut |
Directions:
1. Slice sausage into 1/4-inch slices and fry, no oil added, in a non-stick saucepan or skillet at medium-high heat until browned. 2. Add sauerkraut and mix well. Heat through and serve. |
