Sausage And Sauerkraut

Tart sauerkraut with the sausage is a good mix.
Ingredients:
2 lbs polish sausage
1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, drained
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. Cut sausage in 1-1/2 inch slices.
2. Saute in Dutch oven until browned.
3. Add sauerkraut, and all remaining ingredients; mix well.
4. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
5. Remove bay leaf.
