Sausage and Potato Supper Ingredients:
4 slices bacon |
1 lb sausage |
4 potatoes |
1 onion |
2 ounces butter |
2 teaspoons herbs |
4 ounces cheese |
1/2 pint milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F/Mark 5. Cook sausages and bacon under grill until lightly browned. Cut sausages into slices. Arrange potato slices, onions, bacon and sausages in layers in a greased ovenproof dish, sprinkling each layer with butter, seasoning, and herbs. Finish with a layer of potato on top. Cover with grated cheese, pour in milk and bake in oven for about 1 hour until potatoes are soft. |
