One-pan meal. Great on a roll or over white rice. Ingredients:
2 lbs sausage (sweet or hot) |
2 green peppers (cleaned and slices in thin strips) |
2 red peppers (cleaned and sliced in thin strips) |
1 cup white wine |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 tablespoon salt |
Directions:
1. Add olive oil and sausage in a large frying pan medium to high heat. Brown sausage on all sides. 2. Slice sausage in 1in. pieces(make sure sausage is pretty well browned or it will fall apart when cutting). 3. Add white wine, tomato paste and salt mix until well blended. 4. Cover and let simmer for 5 minutes. 5. Add peppers cover again let simmer another 10 minutes. 6. Serve on a roll or white rice. |
