Make your next brunch a special occasion with tostadas filled with crumbled sausage, shredded cheese, cooked eggs and salsa. Ingredients:
1 (9.6 ounce) package jimmy deanĀ® original hearty pork sausage crumbles |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
6 tostada shells, warmed in oven |
6 cooked eggs, such as poached, fried or over-easy |
1 1/2 cups shredded mexican blend cheese |
3/4 cup salsa |
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro |
Directions:
1. Cook sausage and onion in large skillet over medium-high heat 8-10 minutes or until sausage is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently; drain. 2. Place tostada shells on serving plates. Top with sausage mixture, eggs, cheese, salsa and cilantro. |
