Ingredients:
1 pound(s) country sausage cooked, drained and crumbled |
1/2 loaf(s) hawaiian round bread sliced 1 thick |
6 eggs beaten |
1 cup(s) milk |
salt and pepper to taste |
6 ounce(s) colby jack cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350, grease a 9x9 baking dish. Arrange bread over bottom of dish. Whisk eggs and milk in mixing bowl until well blended. Season with salt and pepper. Pour 1/2 egg mixture over bread. Sprinkle with 1/2 sausage and 1/2 cheese. Add remaining egg mixture, sprinkle with remaining sausage and cheese. Bake 20-30 minutes or until eggs are set and top is golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Recipe can be doubled. |
