From 1001 Slow Cooker Recipes Ingredients:
2 1/2 quarts chicken broth |
1 lb dried black beans |
8 ounces smoked turkey sausage, sliced |
1 cup sliced carrot |
1 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons dried marjoram |
1 bay leaf |
salt and pepper |
lemon wedge |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except salt, pepper and lemon in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low until beans are tender, 7-8 hours. 2. Discard bay leaf. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 3. Serve with lemon wedges. |
