Quick making slaw Ingredients:
1 29-ounce can of shredded sauerkraut, rinsed and drained |
1 medium onion, finely chopped (vidalias are great) |
1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped |
1 small jar chopped pimento (optional) |
1/3 to 1/2 cup white vinegar |
1 1/2 cup sugar |
black pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in an airtight refrigerator container and chill 24 hours before serving. Stir several times during this time to ensure thorough blending of ingredients. 2. This will keep up to 30 days in fridge |
