I found this in a VFW booklet and it really sounded good, haven't tried it yet, but will. I have always like sauerkraut with hot dogs or sausage Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) jar sauerkraut, drained |
1/2 cup finely chopped celery |
1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper |
1/3 cup grated carrot |
1/2 cup finely chopped onion |
1/4 cup sugar, to your taste |
Directions:
1. Combine all of the above and cover. 2. Place in refrigerator overnight. 3. Good with hot dogs, sausages. |
