Yuumy appetizers! Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground sausage |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1- 14 oz can sauerkraut, drained and snipped |
1- 3 oz pkg cream cheese |
2 tsp parsley |
2 tbsp bread crumbs |
1 tsp mustard |
1/4 tsp pepper |
1/c cup flour |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/4 cup milk |
1 cup additional bread crumbs |
Directions:
1. In skillet brown sausage and onion, drain. 2. Add sauerkraut and 2 Tbsp bread crumbs. 3. Combine cream cheese, parsley, mustard, and pepper - stir into sauerkraut mixture. 4. Refrigerate until set. 5. Shape into 1-inch balls and coat with flour. 6. Mix milk and eggs. 7. Dredge balls in milk and eggs then coat with bread crumbs. 8. Deep fry until golden brown. |
