I got this recipe from a Heinz cookbook. It is a nice slightly sweet carrot side dish. Ingredients:
1 lb carrot |
1/4 cup ketchup |
1 1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice |
Directions:
1. Slice carrots into 1/2-inch diagonal pieces. Boil carrots to desired tenderness and drain. 2. Combine remaining ingredients in a skillet or saucepan, and heat through. Add the carrots and mix with sauce. |
