An easy cake that can be served with or without the sauce. With the sauce it makes a sweet, rich dessert. Without the sauce, it makes a great breakfast cake, or afternoon snack. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons melted butter |
2 cups flour |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup evaporated milk |
1/2 cup water |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 cups cranberries, chopped |
1 cup butter |
2 cups sugar |
1 cup evaporated milk |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
Directions:
1. For the cake:. 2. Mix all ingredients together. 3. Spread evenly in a greased 9x13 pan and bake at 350 F for 20-25 minutes. 4. For the sauce:. 5. Mix all sauce ingredients together. 6. Stir over medium heat until it reaches a full boil. 7. Boil for three minutes. 8. Serve while it's warm! |
