I got this recipe from a Mennonite Church cookkbook. This is a great meal to prepare when you are too busy to fuss over the stove. We love it over noodles. The leftovers are great for lunches and it also freezes well. Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat |
8 ounces sliced mushrooms or 8 ounces button mushrooms |
1 (14 ounce) can beef broth |
2 medium onions, chopped |
1 can cream of celery soup |
2 envelopes onion gravy mix |
Directions:
1. Place everything in a 7 x11 baking pan. 2. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven 2 1/2 hours. 3. Serve over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes. |
