This one is a great tea blend, especially if you like spiced teas in general. Since this one uses sarsaparilla, it's a bit more unique than your typical black tea. It is best hot, but I like it chilled too. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons dried sarsaparilla root |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 teaspoon dried orange peel |
1/2 teaspoon cardamom |
1/2 teaspoon fennel seed |
1/2 teaspoon anise seed |
1/2 teaspoon clove |
Directions:
1. Assemble all the ingredients and place in a tea ball. Note: If you don't own a tea ball, then you can put the ingredients directly in the water and then strain out later. 2. Place tea ball in hot water and steep for 10 minutes. |
