Sarah's Vegan Chocolate Cake |

A friend of mine is a vegan chef and she created this recipe. This is a moist, incredibly rich tasting cake! It's the only chocolate cake recipe I use! Tastes great with a nice fudgy icing. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour |
3/4 cup cocoa |
1 1/3 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup oil |
1/4 cup applesauce |
2 1/3 cups water |
1/4 cup vinegar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Mix wet and dry ingredients separately then add wet to dry ingredients. Mix until all wet. Pour into 9 x 9 greased pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes. |
