My friend, Sara Lou, recently brought this to a party. It is delicious and she was willing to share the recipe with me. Neither she or I like green peppers so we do not add them. Serve warm with corn tortilla chips. Ingredients:
2 cups sour cream |
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened |
2 cups shredded four-cheese mexican blend cheese |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix |
1 (4 1/2 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained |
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies, drained |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. Beat sour cream, cream cheese and mexican cheese blend in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until well combined. 3. Stir in remaining ingredients. 4. Pour into baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. (she used a deep dish pie dish). 5. Bake 50 minutes or until hot and bubbly. 6. Serve with corn tortilla chips. |
