This sprightly, crunchy relish is a California original that's served alongside or over smoked steak. Ingredients:
2 (14.5-ounce) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes with green chiles, undrained (such as muir glen) |
1 cup finely chopped celery |
1/2 cup finely chopped onion |
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt |
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (such as tabasco) |
Directions:
1. Drain 1 can tomatoes. Combine drained tomatoes, undrained tomatoes, and remaining ingredients; cover and chill salsa at least 30 minutes before serving. |
