1 cup yellow corn meal |
1 cup all purpose flour |
1 tbsp baking powder |
2 tbsp sugar |
1 tsp ground cumin |
1/2 tsp garlic powder |
1/2 tsp chili powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 cup canned chopped green chilies |
1 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1 egg |
additional chili powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425. Lightly grease an 8x8-inch pan. Combine first 8 ingredients; add chilies. Stir in milk, butter and egg. Pour into pan; sprinkle with chili powder. Bake for 20 minutes. |
