Traditional Mexican drink. Two part cocktail—take a sip of sangrita, then follow with a sip of tequila. My husband is into this one. Ingredients:
1/3 cup tomato juice |
1/2 lime, juice of |
2/3 cup fresh orange juice |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
tabasco sauce (1-2 dashes or to taste) |
premium tequila, to taste (commerativo or herradura) |
Directions:
1. Mix all the sangrita ingredients together and chill for at least 2 hours (needs to be very cold). 2. Serve the sangrita in a highball glasses (can garnish with a fresh chile pepper and a sprinkle of cumin). 3. Serve the tequila in shot glasses beside the rosy sangrita. |
