Sangria goes to France Ingredients:
1 (750 ml) bottle bordeaux wine |
1/3 cup simple syrup (1part sugar, 1part water) |
1/4 cup cognac |
1/4 cup creme de cassis |
1/4 cup pomegranate juice |
12 hulled strawberries |
7-up, soda if desired |
Directions:
1. Add all the ingredients except the 7-Up in a large glass or ceramic container; stir well. 2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. 3. Serve over ice; top with 7-Up, if desired and garnish with additional strawberries. |
